This Privacy Policy explains how Menuwing (“Menuwing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Menuwing platform, our restaurant websites, and the Menuwing Print App (together, the “Services”). The Print App is a companion tool that lets restaurant staff receive and automatically print incoming orders.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information. When a restaurant administrator signs in, we process the email address and password used to authenticate the account.
• Device identifiers. To deliver real-time order alerts, we register a push notification token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) and a generated device identifier with our servers.
• Order and restaurant data. The Services process orders, menu items, and restaurant settings so they can be displayed, managed, and printed.
• Customer order details. Orders may contain customer-provided information (such as name, contact details, and delivery address) which is processed on behalf of the restaurant to fulfil and print the order.
• Payment information. Online payments are handled by third-party processors (such as Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

2. How We Use Information

• To authenticate users and secure access to the Services.
• To deliver real-time order notifications and automatically print incoming orders on connected printers.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the platform and the Print App.
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. On-Device Data

The Print App stores authentication tokens securely on your device (using the device keychain/secure storage) and caches recent orders locally so the app can keep working during brief network outages. This on-device data remains on your device and is cleared when you sign out or uninstall the app.

4. Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Services, including:

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — to deliver push notifications.
• Pusher — to deliver real-time order events over a secure WebSocket connection.
• Payment processors (e.g. Stripe) — to process online payments.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — to host and run the platform.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account data as described below.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) and secure on-device storage of credentials, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data using reasonable technical and organizational measures.

7. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for restaurant businesses and their staff and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your Rights
